Name: Taylor, Wayne (d. 1972)

Historical Note: Wayne Taylor, a native of Indiana, was a long-time resident of Jacksonville, IL, and member of the First Baptist Church there.  He traveled a territory in that part of Illinois for the Chicago candy company from the 1930s to the 1960s.  He was married twice, with two children by his first marriage and his second spouse, Edna Knoll (Schroeder) Taylor, moved with him to Phoenix, AZ, in 1971.  He died there in 1972, and she survived him there until 1998.  He treated Edna Taylor's children as his own, one of them being Janet C. Miller, Assistant Dean of Faculty for Off-Campus Programs, Lake Forest College.
